What is a Giclee Print?

Giclée(pronounced [ʒiːˈkleɪ] "zhee-clay" or /dʒiːˈkleɪ, from French IPA[ʒiˈkle]), is the name for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word "giclée" is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to spray".  This print making process results in the finest musuem quality products intended to pass the test of time.

The paper used for the my prints is a 140lb acid free stock which results in a perfect reproduction of the original work.  The inks utilized for the printing process are also acid free guaranteeing a flawless musuem quality print.
